About Me
I am a licensed therapist in New York and New Hampshire with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. I have worked with individuals and families across a range of clinical settings, including outpatient substance abuse clinics, hospital-based intensive outpatient programs (IOP), community mental health clinics and in leadership roles as a Program Coordinator and Assistant Director.
In my private practice, I specialize in treating addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have received training in trauma-informed care as well as in substance use treatment, having completed the requirements for the Certificate of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling. My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based practices and draws on a compassionate, culturally attuned approach to support clients through a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish & passionate about serving the Latino community as well, with culturally responsive and meaningful support. I strive to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in their healing process.

Therapeutic Approaches
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By noticing unhelpful patterns, you can learn to challenge them and make positive changes in how you think and respond to life’s challenges.
Motivational Interviewing
This approach helps you explore your own reasons for change — without pressure or judgment. It’s supportive, collaborative, and focused on building motivation from within, especially when you're feeling stuck or unsure.
Multicultural/Culturally-Informed Therapy
Your background, culture, and identity matter in the therapy room. This approach honors your lived experience and explores how race, culture, gender, and other identities shape your mental health, relationships, and healing process.
Strength-Based Therapy
Instead of just focusing on what's “wrong,” this approach highlights what’s already right — your strengths, resilience, and inner resources. It’s about helping you build on what’s working to create lasting growth and confidence.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy
TF-CBT is a specialized form of CBT that supports people — especially children and teens — in processing trauma in a safe, structured way. It combines coping skills with gentle trauma processing to help reduce fear, shame, and distress.
